This is an English translation of the Korean User Safety Standards. If there is any difference between the two, the Korean version prevails.
Xames is a dating and community service for adults. The Company sets and follows the safety standards below so that members can connect with each other with peace of mind. These standards apply together with the Terms of Service.
1. Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
- We prohibit all content and conduct related to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This includes posting, sharing or requesting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexually approaching or luring children or minors (grooming), and any sexualized depiction of children.
- When identified, the content is removed immediately and the account is permanently banned, and the same email address cannot be used to sign up again.
- We report child sexual abuse material to law enforcement in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Children and Youth against Sex Offenses and other applicable laws, and preserve the necessary data to cooperate with investigations.
2. No Minors
- Persons under 19 cannot sign up. We check age at sign-up.
- Anyone can report a member suspected of being a minor. If confirmed, we immediately restrict the account and destroy the related information.
3. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is not allowed, even between adult members:
- Impersonating others or using someone else's photos
- Disclosing another member's sexual orientation without consent (outing), or sharing conversations or photos outside the Service
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, stalking, or sending unwanted sexual content
- Soliciting illegal activities such as prostitution or drugs, asking for money, fraud, and similar conduct
4. Reporting and Blocking
Members can raise concerns through the in-app report and block features or by the email address provided, and the identity of the reporting member is protected.
5. Review and Action
- Reports are reviewed directly by our operators, and reports related to child safety are handled first.
- When a violation is confirmed, we hide content or suspend the account without prior warning, depending on the severity.
- Members may appeal an action through the email address provided.
6. Protecting Members' Information
The Company protects members' identity and personal information from being disclosed without consent, and takes the necessary measures to prevent profiles and conversations from leaking outside the Service.
7. Tips for Meeting Safely
- When meeting for the first time, choose a busy public place and tell someone close to you about your plans.
- Do not respond to requests for money or investments, or to requests to move to an outside messenger.
- If you feel unsafe, call the police (112 in Korea) right away and report it in the app as well.
8. Legal Compliance and Contact
